As an Active member of the optometrist community with more than 12 years of practice & teaching experience in the field of Optometry he played a key role in shaping the optometrist students professional life and knowledge.In addition he is an influence within the world of eye care when it comes to re-thinking the way Optometry practices are conducted. He also paved the way for both clinically and with top tier management practices, which is always noticed in the present way of optometrist professionals with various institutions.
Anwer Shakeeb also chairs the Privet Paramedical Association & Vice President of Indian Optometrists Association,Kerala (IOA), an organization, working in partnership with various Institutional groups, to serve and address the skill shortfalls in the Paramedical Sciences Sector across Kerala & Abroad.
Keeping true to the Principal of “Knowledge to All “Anwar Shakeeb drives the Institution’s Social Responsibility initiatives. Anwar Shakeeb as the Trustee of Al Rayhan Trust board, works to help the less privileged create sustainable livelihoods through appropriate vocational education.
Anwar Shakeeb was identified as a “Young Optometrist award for 2013” by the Rayhan group Forum, and was presented with the “Best Optometrist of the Year” award for his contributions to Social Responsibility. He holds a degree in Optometry from AAI-DU Allahabad, Masters in Optometry from Vinayaka Mission University, Salem, India, and an MBA from Bharathiar University and pursuing his PhD in Prevalence of Strabismus in Indian child’s
